Winter can be dreary, but if you look carefully, the woods are still filled with surprising color. Join us as we search the new trails for the hidden hues of winter.

Sunday, January 26 – Winter Animal Tracks, 12:30 to 1:30PM
No matter what the weather, animals leave fascinating clues behind. Join us as we use the basic techniques of tracking to read the stories written on the ground.


Sunday, February 16 – Family Scavenger Hunt, 12 Noon – 1:00PM
Get your thinking caps on! By using the clues provided, we’ll head out onto the farm’s new trails and fill in the blanks with nature.

Thursday, February 20 – Animals in Winter, 1:00 – 2:30PM
Where do all the animals go when the weather turns cold? Join Seatuck as we take a walk in the woods to learn about some of the various strategies animals employ to survive the winter.


Saturday, March 8 – Creating Fairy Houses, 11:00AM – 12:30PM
Even fairies need homes, right? Come help us build imaginative fairy houses around the property with sticks, stones and other natural materials we find. Who knows what else we’ll see along the way!

Saturday, March 29 – Starting From Scratch, 12Noon – 1:30PM
Where does our food come from – the farm or a factory? This program will include a tour of the farm and its animals, followed by hands-on activities about the food we eat.
