Join Landmarks Preservation commissioners, review boards and preservationists from across Long Island for a free workshop on how to address new infill design in historic districts.

Funded by the New York State Certified Local Government Program and co-sponsored by the Village of Southampton, this workshop will focus on the “best practices” for new construction within a historic context. Architect and former New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission Chair Sherida E. Paulsen, Nancy A. Rankin, a principal with John G. Waite Associates, and Alexandra Wolfe, Director of SPLIA, will discuss their experience with the design and development process of infill in historic districts.
