Third Annual Sheep Shearing Festival Sherwood-Jayne Farm

Date: Sunday, May 31, 2015, 12:30PM – 3:30PM (Rain or Shine)

Admission: $5 per person or $20 per family (limit of 6 per family).
(No Pets please)
Parking is free.

Enjoy a family day at the farm:

1:00PM Take a walk on the nature trail with the Seatuck Environmental Association – you might see a great horned owl or red tail hawk.

2:00PM Watch Tabbethia Haubold of the Long Island Livestock Co., shear the sheep and talk about “secrets of wool gathering.”

Storytime with Emma Clark Library throughout the day.
Demonstrations of spinning, quilting, knitting, weaving and felting will take place throughout the day as well as kid’s crafts and guided tours of the Sherwood Jayne house. We’ll also have country music, hot dogs and ice cream.
